Lead the Change: VYLH Orientation 2026

Are you passionate about serving and making an impact?

The UPLB Genetics Society invites all students to take part in an upcoming university-wide orientation on the Volunteer Youth Leaders for Health (VYLH) this May. The VYLH is a nationwide initiative that empowers young leaders to become advocates of health, science, and community engagement, mobilizing the youth to take active roles in addressing pressing public health concerns. As one of the pioneers, and the only student organization in the establishment and growth of the VYLH-Philippines, GeneSoc continues to uphold its commitment to developing student leaders who are not only knowledgeable in science but are also driven to serve and uplift communities.

This orientation is your opportunity to learn more about how you can get involved in meaningful youth initiatives, collaborate with fellow student leaders, and become part of a network that advocates for accessible and inclusive healthcare. Whether you’re passionate about advocacy, community service, or simply curious about how you can make an impact, this upcoming VYLH orientation is the perfect place to start. Step forward, take part, and be one of the voices shaping a healthier future.

Stay tuned for more details, and take this chance to be part of something bigger — because health starts with informed and committed individuals like you!
