GeneSoc alumni receive accolades during the 104th UPLB Loyalty Day

Last October 10, 2022, the University of the Philippines - Los Baños (UPLB) celebrated its 104th UPLB Loyalty Day and Alumni Homecoming wherein two GeneSoc alumni received accolades – Dr. Mark Kristoffer U. Pasayan (Batch Anlage) and Dr. Glenn B. Gregorio (Batch Recombinants). 

This year's Loyalty Day theme is "Strengthening the Partnership between UPLB and Alumni for more Progressive Communities."

Dr. Pasayan received the CAS Distinguished Alumni Award for Public Health Promotion. Currently, he is known as an infectious disease specialist. Meanwhile, Dr. Gregorio and his family received the 2022 UPLBAA Multi-generation UPLB Alumni Family Award. This award is given to families who have produced three or more successive generations of UPLB alumni. 

With these exemplary achievements, The UPLB Genetics Society congratulates Dr. Mark and Dr. Glenn and his family.

UPLB celebrates the Loyalty Day and Alumni Homecoming every year to commemorate the heroism of the young men and women of the UP College of Agriculture (UPCA) who took the opportunity to serve in the Philippine National Guard during World War I back in 1918.
