The PLE is administered twice a year by
the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC). It is the only professional
licensure examination for physicians in the Philippines. Further, it is
implemented under the Republic Act No. 2382 or The Medical Act of 1959. The
examination assesses the skills and knowledge of the examinees regarding medical
practice. The examination covered topics such as biochemistry, anatomy and
histology, microbiology, parasitology, physiology, legal medicine, ethics and
medical jurisprudence, pathology, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, preventive
medicine, and public health.
To be a doctor is a lifelong journey
towards continuous learning and a duty to the people. Every sweat dropped and every
tear shed in the process is rewarded with newfound hope and inspiring smiles.
Congratulations on your well-deserved
success! Your GeneSoc family is proud of you. May you continue to serve the
people with your mind and heart, and continue to transcend passion and
excellence in your every action.
